Long day, but Indy Won and That is Never Bad.

I got up at the butt crack of dawn and got ready to go teach my Talented and Gifted class of weather weenies at Walter State CC. Smart 5th-8th graders who want to be geeks. I spent all week getting ready (see where this is going?), boiled eggs last night, got my kit ready, spent two hours copying and printing, etc. Drove over there, and checked, or tried to. It's in two week. So I drove home and took a nap for two hours in front of the tv while Cindy worked on her YW lesson. Then in the afternoon I drove out to Newport (Edwina, to be exact) and spent two hours with a nice citizen who wants to help us do better forecasts and warnings on the Pigeon River, which I truly do appreciate. He's a math geek and has already stored a ton of data on his Google account pertaining to the flooding the river causes around his hood. I wish some of our employees took it as seriously.

Then I came home and just about fell asleep, but Cindy mocked me so I cowboyed up and stayed awake. Then the NFL started up so that perked me up. Indy won! And Austin Collie from BYU scored a valuable touchdown that, dare I say, put the game away?

*****************

After midnight I worked out and went ten miles to Grand Portage, MN. Total of 598. Perhaps Sunday I'll cowboy up again and make it to Canada.

It was good to talk to you the other day.

When you come can you do a little weather class for the kids. Eggs and all???
They would love that!

That would be great! Can you get me a quart milk bottle that will not allow an egg to slip into it? Must be glass. Antique shops have them, sometimes. BUT...one here wanted 40 bucks for it, and I offered him 5 and he took 6. Yeah, that's what I thought. It's always good to talk to you, Jamee. I could even understand Brigham.
