I did kung fu officially three times in a week and on my own at home I did the stretching and strength of i ching. Gauging by the exhaustion and soreness, I figured it's about 70 miles on a bike this week. So I'm up to Haugen, WI. According to the census there are 287 people living there, mostly white, but there are two Mexicans. Yeah, right. They're all just hiding. Those two are the legal ones.

We are leaving for Denver Saturday. Two day drive. We are staying with Heidi and seeing Duane and Danny and picking up some of Mom's things to bring home. I'll never forget the last time I saw her as she stood on the porch waving that Grandma Connie wave and smiling at Loni and me. Loni just giggled and said she'd never forget that, either.

I'm listening to some new music I bought on iTunes. I love music. It changes your mood, or accents it. Anyone who says that music and lyrics don't have an effect on people is lying. I just listened to a piano piece called "River Flows in You" by Yiruma. Tonight I downloaded songs by Seals and Croft, Bruce Cockburn, Al Stewart, My Chemical Romance, Cold Play, Boys Don't Cry, Steve Miller, Cat Stevens, Tracy Ullman, The Clash, Vivien Vee, Regina Spektor, and Talking Heads.
Is that random enough for some of you?
