134 miles more to Stevie's house.
I like milestones. I am sort of proud of myself for having exercised so many days in a row. Sometimes it's hard, but I always try and get something in. I do give myself one day a week off, which is not always Sunday. Yesterday was my day off of exercise since I worked 16 hours. Today was my day off work, so I only worked 4 hours. Sometimes I hate that about my job, but hey. I have a job and I am grateful for that. Thank you, Lord, for blessing us this way.
I am also glad about having not drunk caffeine for so long. I am truly getting over it. The headaches are long gone. I sleep better. I sleep sooner. I have more energy. Also, I am finding wisdom, and great treasures of knowledge, even hidden treasures. Now I want to walk and not be weary and run and not faint. That's next.
We are reading the Old Testament together and boy are we grateful for the Joseph Smith Translation. It clarifies so much, especially about Abraham and Lot, which is where we are not. Lot has been so misunderstood, as has Abraham. When you think about it, in the first 16 chapters of the Bible, over 2000 years pass with just a brief mention of even the heroes. That's not much information. It's no wonder there are so many interpretations and claims regarding it. I see why so many are confused and argue over its precepts.
Loni was doing her homework on her laptop in the living room, and I asked if it was OK if I watched UFC. She said sure, she was busy, anyway. After a moment of two, she started watching a little. Then she started complaining about how one guy was fighting. Then she took sides with me for one guy who got beat and we were both disappointed. Then I finished my bike ride and wanted to blog in the computer room. So I said, "Do you want to turn off the TV? Or do you want the remote?" She said, "Yeah, the remote. I want to keep watching this." I chuckled inside. A few minutes later, she called to me: "Dad! Come watch this! He knocked that guy out in one punch, completely out!" So we rewound it and watched it over. Now she's yelling at some other guy out there. Cracking me up.
That's my girl.

Woohoo! You're in Utah now! I know you are peddling to Stevie's, but could you wave at our place when you whiz past? (A full handed wave... don't just wave one finger.)
I'll be sure to put UFC in our queue for her and Daron in Jan.
Oh my.

Thanks, Jamee. And Trudy, I will wave at you but I have special finger reserved just for Kurt. That's for the pink chunky peanut butter he injected into my buttocks when I was sick. I don't care if I got better fast, it still hurt and he laughed at me and made the nurses laugh at me, too.
And then I had to go to namby pamby land to find some self confidence for me...
