WOO HOO! We rock! And thanks be to God.

Total of 1,954 miles from home, in the MONW, Saskatchewan.

Cindy and I went to WW today and weighed in, our first official weigh in. She lost 1.5 pounds and I lost 12 pounds. Some might say, "Yeah, but that's just water weight." To which I always reply, "Yeah, and water weight around one's heart kills one." So I figure I either lost 12 pounds, or I grew two inches. I'll take the former.

Got to run talk to Cubs in the heat and humidity. Heat index in Abingdon, VA is only 82 right now, and so that is tolerable. It will be higher at 5:30 when I start helping them make rain gages OUTSIDE under the METAL awning. Oh, well.

Tomorrow, I'm taking a few hours off and we are driving to Nashville to the temple. Doing a session at 8 a.m. and then the youth will do baptisms and we'll help. Last month, Bays Mountain ward did TEN THOUSAND baptisms in one week. Good for them.

Ten thousand? That is awesome. I am sure those on the other side think it is pretty cool too.

I am glad you are going to the Temple. Have fun!!

P.S. Congrats on your weight loss. I will try to make it easy for you to keep losing while you are here.

We can help with healthy, filling foods that are quite tasty. Even can make them fun by putting the ingredients on the counter and letting the kids "build" their own dishes. Say, Hawaiian Haystacks might be good one day. We can figure out a way to make it less fat and higher in fiber.
