I had two 16 hour days, some it driving in blinding snow in the Cumberland Plateau at night, some of it with students. I spent Saturday at the TAG program at Walters State, teaching kids about weather. They were a smart class and fun (read, they laughed at my jokes, especially the ones explaining how burps and farts are actually air pressure demonstrations).
For Valentine's Day Cindy got me some chocolate covered cherries my very favorites and a memory card for my phone which I cannot figure out how to use. I got her a giant Indianapolis Colts blanket. The only missing was Austin Collie and Peyton Manning, but I had to draw the line. Besides, their contracts have not expired, yet. Maybe some day.
Church was great today. I was lifted. Afterward we had one of the young women over for stew. She is a sweetheart and comes to church alone every week. We take turns with the Minamis picking her up.
Then I worked out and rode some with my i ching workout. Total of 27 miles so far this week. I need to get back to every day.
Love you guys!

It's just hard to get my head around Cindy the football fan. This is the same Cindy that during the final 2 minutes of a very close FLorida Gators / TN Vols SEC championship game was standing between the TV and those of us watching the game, with her back turned to the TV talking about flower decorations. Yes very hard indeed. Wonder what she would do if I blocked the TV during the Superbowl.
I am not suprised about anything in this post.
Chocolate covered cherries? Not suprised.
Blanket for mom? Not suprised.
Bike riding? Not suprised.
Have a good night.

KURT you had better not stand between me and my COLTS!!!I'll hunt you down like a mad woman. Thanks honey for the blanket I love it and really needed it this winter.!!
We love the colts!!! Doesn't change a thing that they lost....they'll get it next year! Don't you just love Austin Collie? He was fun to watch at BYU and now we are thrilled he's a Colt. Whoot Whoot!
