Sunday

So...11 miles today on that bike thing. I tell you, I've been in a bad way for a month and just lost interest. But I had some powerful spiritual experiences today and that changed everything. Can't elaborate now. Tell some of you someday. Maybe.

Loni came over tonight. Her friend Chris was working on her car. She ate some smoked turkey breast that I smoked in the smoker with smoke, and then said, "Hey, Dad. I want something sweet. Do you? [sure] How about brownies? [good idea] With chocolate chips? [great]" So I make them and then she says, "Hey, Mom. What goes good on a turkey sandwich? [lettuce, mustard or mayo, cheese, etc] Ok. I want to make Christ some sandwiches and brownies for working on my car." So I make the brownies and Cindy takes them out when they're done. Later I help Loni with here computer class test online, then she actually makes the sandwiches with our food and leaves. Boy, this empty nest thing is working differently than I expected.

I love her a lot.

I love Stevie and TK and Mighty Beau and Jamee and Daron and Miss O and Mr. Carter and Brother Brig and Queen Cindy. I have the best family in the world. Remember our family chant when you were all young? "Boyds, Boyds! We're the best! We feel sorry for all the rest!" I still feel that way.

Better run. Big day off tomorrow. Cindy and I are going to buy me a new phone with internet and cool stuff and then go to McKay's books and then buy a plastic strip for the stairs so I quit slipping and trying to fall. Big day when you are 50 and your youngest daughter just took all the brownies and turkey.

Seriously, though. She comes over too seldom because she's busy. Doing well in school.
