Back in the saddle

I worked seven midnights in a row and that always kills me. If I could stay on them I'd probably be better off, but coming back on the day shift is what does me in. This time, I had to go work our booth at the Tennessee Valley Fair about five days of the nine. Long days. Then, when it was over, I had another day shift followed by midnight that night. I'm so tired. Boo hoo.

But I'm feeling better. Rode 20 miles tonight to near Madison, WI, after my bike sabbatical.

In seminary I did my yearly reading of "Return from Tomorrow" by Georgie Ritchie. Go try it.

Tomorrow we do 2 Nephi 11-24. I told them to read chapter 11 and the chapter headings to the rest. Too much to cover in one day. Plus, it's all Isaiah, and there are entire college courses on Isaiah. Heck, there are doctoral degrees specializing in Isaiah.

Now I'm going to bed and read "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" until I fall asleep. Driving to Chattanooga tomorrow to photograph the flood damage and talk to a newspaper.
