This is a statue in a park in Mauston, Wisconsin. Cheese heads. Next to it is what I look at every time I sit down at the pc. Munchkins, one of whom left his underwear in the street. One loves his mom so much he tears huge plants bigger than he is out of the ground to give her on Muvver's Day. Another one is growing up so fast she actually gets jokes now, and is as pretty as her Mom. The other one is Mighty Mouse. Tough little guy, but spoiled rotten by his Mom. I love 'em all.
Rode 13 miles just now. Have church and need to hit the road. I was reading in Mosiah 1 about Christ and how he created us and so we owe him. Then he gave us life and so we owe him more. Then all he does is have us obey his commandments to be happy, and then he pays us for it, so we owe him even more. We can never "get ahead" nor even catch up. I thought, "That is eternity. We will always owe him, and so even though he commands us to "Be ye therefore perfect" (i.e., try to be like me) and we will succeed through his atonement (Paul, through a glass darkly, etc), he will always be our God, our Savior. We will progress eternally in the family unit, but they will always be God our Father, and God our Savior." I love that.
Now why is that so hard to understand and accept?
