No riding today, because I'm sick and there is no woman here to lack pity for me.

I can hear it now: "Try having a baby", "Wimp. Man up", "What a wuss". I don't care. I took off today using part of the 13 comp hour I earned on my last day off, mowed the lawn with my borrowed mower, which sucks, then I came inside and fell asleep for two hours. No CPAP, since I'm all stuffed up so, hence, nightmares. Woke up for an hour, exhausted. Slept for another two hours, nightmares. Woke up, better stop that cycle. Went to Walmart, bought ramen, diet Dr. Pepper, plain old vanilla ice cream because I can, and Nutella and graham crackers. Yum. Came home and started watching a special on "Jupiter, the Giant Planet". You know the thing that gets me about these scientists is that they continually learn more and more and get more data and info and scientific knowledge but they never figure out what to actually do with it. So we have Paul writing to Timothy about such men, who learn much but never get to a knowledge of the basic truth: that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and atoned for the sins of all creatures, created all things, and that all things testify of him. From the most basic subatomic particle, to the most vast galaxy, all things testify that he is Christ. Read the verses, 2 Timothy 3:5-9,

"Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was."

I really do not think that these scientists are evil, for I have worked with many of them, who are atheists, brilliant, family men, but full of corrupt self-image which causes them to turn away from God and rely on their own wisdom. They truly are reprobate concerning the faith and shall proceed no further. One day their folly shall be made known and they will be brought to bend the knee and confess that Jesus is the Christ. They will inherit the Terrestrial Kingdom and will be allowed to learn and find out, and investigate for eternity. But there shall be a limit eventually placed on their learning and their knowledge and their progress, in the end, shall be damned up and allowed to go no further.

Last, here is a picture of what I look like when I'm sick and Cindy is gone. Still want to come home, hon?
