I have made 2,863 miles on my bike. This puts me on the Wyoming-Idaho border just north of Cokeville. Taken me a long time. I wish I could persist in obeying the Weight Watchers program as well. I seem to eat and then work it off, rather than eat a little and work more off. It's like spending money: you can spend it so fast but it earns so slow.
I was thinking of the videos and blog Jamee and Stevie put up for Halloween. Someday, someday, we'll be able to just drive and see you guys and spend some time on holidays and special occasions.
Someday.

It may just be that I am too tired with all that is going on in my life, but I read this and I just started bawling. I think I need a trip home. Even an imaginary bike ride! You are in what I think is the most beautiful place on earth (my husband very much disagrees)! If you've got time for a day trip, head over to Bear Lake, it is magnificent! And if it were the right time of year, I would tell you which families are easiest to steal raspberries from! There is nothing on earth like a Bear Lake raspberry. Sigh. Thanks for the trip down memory lane, I dearly needed it tonight. All of the towns you are near were named by my ancestors, but Cokeville is my home, wave if you go through there or through Afton, i am related to everyone in both towns, somehow. Wow, sorry, but thank you very much!
When I was riding to Chicago I couldn't stop eating because I needed the energy.
I lost 10 pounds when I stopped riding so hard.
Someday, you will be closer. I am so glad there are blogs so that family can keep up easier, but sometimes it just makes me more mad to see what everyone is up to and I AM NOT THERE!!!
Love you.

I am the same as Jamee...I get a little sad too when I see everyone and I wanna be there! We miss you and mom and Loni always. I will try to be better about blogging more often!
It's all about family and friends, the gospel is. To be with each other forever. There is a way to guarantee this, those of you who are not members of our church. We appreciate your friendship and want you to have what we have. We love you (almost) as much as we do each other.
Cynthia, I only went through Cokeville because I knew your family was from there. If everyone there is related, it sounds a LOT like Sneedville, Tennessee and that is scary. We've been to Bear Lake when we lived in SLC and went in July and the water was so cold it turned our lips blue just standing in it. I'm used to Tennessee and Florida water now.
Cokeville is not like Sneedville. Sheesh. I will admit, I am pretty much spoiled by Florida water now, myself!
