I can't even begin to describe my gratitude to God

What can I say? So much has happened that is good, too good to describe at this time. Who says there is no God. "The fool says in his heart, 'There is no God'". Has moved the chess pieces of the world around, not leaving anyone unblessed who earnestly seeks him, in order to answer our prayers, too. We never mean for him to bless us at the expense of someone else, and so it often takes time, from our perspective, for him to arrange to answer our prayers. It's so hard to see from our lowly perspective what his plans are and so he teaches us trust in him.

The other day, Brigham has a bad day. I don't know why exactly, but when he talked to Cindy, he punctuated his venting by explaining to her that, on top of his already bad day, his macaroni and cheese was not right. It just ruined his whole day. From his three year old view, that was the icing on the cake. From our lofty adult view, his concerns were so minor and so temporary. But to him, it was so hard and he could not understand why, on top of everything else, he could just not have his macaroni and cheese done right.

Heavenly Father must look at our concerns the same way sometimes. Even though they are of grave concern to us and even the little things that make us happy sometimes go awry, too, they are temporary and with a little faith and trust in him, all will be well.

God bless us, everyone.
