I think I'll hold, every now and then, trivia contests. They can be about anything I want them to be about, and I am the final judge. I will also decide when enough time has elapsed. It's basically for my own enjoyment. You can guess until I say you've guessed enough. I'd like to know your sources, though, if you search on the internet or at the library, or phone a friend, etc.
Today's question
Who said this:
"Truth, unlike beauty, is not in the eye of the beholder, but in the mind of God."
Hint: He was born in the 20th Century and, at the time he said it, was a scientist.
Cynthia is forbidden to play this round, since we had previously discussed this quote.

Russell M. Nelson? Beautiful quote, by the way. And that's the truth.
Edgar Allen Poe?
Born in the 20th Century, eh? Henry B Eyring? I agree with Jess-- beautiful quote...truthfully. :-)And I love your blog!!
This person says he was pondering in his mind what beauty really was and, knew many people who the world would consider not beautiful, but who God would love for their inner beauty. He decided that these people would someday be the most outwardly beautiful people, as well. One thing led to another and this statement just came to his mind and it was right.
It is Brian Boyd.
Ha! Got you all. But thanks for the compliments. Although I AM more like Edgar Allan Poe than just about anybody else on earth.
Wow, Brian! You ought to write a book focusing on that thought! Well done... :-)
I haven't got the attention span to write a book. Writing poems wears me out. But thanks.
I know E.A. Poe....and yes, you are actually a great deal like him. Intriguing thought! I know that I could not guess, but I can say how much this quote has touched me and continues to make me think. Thank you!!
