This week the heat index has been over 105 degrees with the humidity. It's so awful muggy. I've never felt it like this around even here. The low temperature in the morning is pushing 80 degrees. Yesterday had to mow the lawn, with a 101 degrees outside. It was a foot tall. Been raining in the heat every day for years....well, you know. I mowed again today just to mulch up the cuttings from yesterday. I'll probably have to mow again tomorrow.

I just read "A Brief Explanation of the Book of Mormon", which I will leave to you since it's just an explanatory note about the structure and contents of the book. It's worth reading. But the last paragraph is worth noting:

"About this edition: Some minor errors in the text have been perpetuated in past editions of the Book of Mormon. This edition contains corrections that seem appropriate to bring the material into conformity with prepublication manuscripts and early editions edited by the Prophet Joseph Smith."

I love this. Think about this from the Title Page:

"And now, if there are faults they are the mistakes of men; wherefore, condemn not the things of God, that ye may be found spotless at the judgment-seat of Christ."

So many so-called Bible believing people and, of course, the apostates find fault with the many versions of the Book of Mormon that the church has published over the years. "If it's really the work of God and was translated by the gift and power of God, as Joseph Smith claimed, then it should not have errors. It must be inerrant."

Oh, yeah? And how do you explain the myriad versions of the Bible in extent just today, let alone over the centuries?

Morons and liars.

There. I feel better.
