It's a 2008 model, Yamaha Roadstar "S" which means chromed out, with windshield, saddle bags, and I have a rider backrest coming next week. I need to get crash bars badly, next pay check. The beautiful thing is, it's been in the showroom since 2008 and they were very eager to move it. It's about a $16,000 bike without accessories, but I got it for way, way less. They were motivated. And I went to the credit union and cut the interest rate in half from the dealer. Sandee H is going to come help me bring it home in about an hour.I've had a number of calls on my other bike to buy it, and I may be meeting a guy at work tonight with cash in hand. We'll see. One guy got mad at me because I would not let him just ride off on a test ride without having the cash in my hand first. He wanted me to trust him. Sure. I just LOOK stupid.

WOW! Nice looking bike! Where you going on your first road trip together--you and your love (and maybe Cindy?)
Cindy can come, too, if she wants. I still need crash bars and a helmet for her. But I now have the coolness and the suavity.
HEY You gave birth and I wasn't even there to enjoy it!!! Love your new Baby!! see you tomorrow
Yeah, but THIS birth didn't hurt or make me puke or yell at you on the delivery table: "YOU DID THIS TO ME GET AWAY FROM YOU %&*#@!"
I don't know, Trudy. cindy has to get a helmet and we need a back rest for her and crash bars. It's another several hundred dollars down the road. I need crash bars first. These keep the bike from falling on my legs if it goes down. But don't tell Cindy about it going down. It's our secret, ok?
