Went 25 miles in the last two days, total of 1,478 from home. Went to kung fu tonight. Went to work today. Went nuts for a while at work. I have amassed a small fortune in comp time and have a limited time to use it or lose it. I was going to use two hours and take off early, the boss came back, the emails rolled in, the phone rang.
"I've got my country's 500th anniversary to plan, my wedding to arrange, my wife to murder and Guilder to frame for it; I'm swamped."
Tomorrow, I've got a Kiwanis talk at the country club (free lunch), then a conference call at 2 which will last an hour, so no comp time off tomorrow, either. Cindy has her book club, which I am NOT allowed to join, and so I'll probably order pizza and watch UFC fights, or Mythbusters, or oh I don't know a cheesy kung fu movie or black and sci fi flick. Woot!
Then Saturday we are going to the Nashville Temple with the youth. That will be fun. I haven't been with them in months and months. Sunday Loni and Chris are coming over for hamburgers. That will be a blast. She is a peach.
I got a message from Beau, if you read the comments below on another blog entry. What a funny little guy. Also, Carter and Brigham called today to thank us for their Valentine's gifts. Carter bought a rubber snake, a slurpee, and gum. Brigham bought a dinosaur he named "Duck" and a slurpee. Gee, wonder why he was not allowed to have gum. O was not home from school, yet, so we missed her.
We miss you all. Pray hard that we can move out west. Maybe Boise is our best shot in the next year or so. I have a few contacts there, but it's all in the Lord's hands.
