News, fun, work.

I had to work tonight from 4 until midnight. Slow night. Good. Lots of thick fog. Loni stayed last night and then Chris took her home tonight. I love Loni. I wish she still lived with us, really. But all things change, don't they. I mean I got older. I'm working on growing up, now.

Today at church, Clint Hurley spoke. He is one of our high councilors. He is a great speaker and a very spiritual man. I admire him. He's also my dentist. I asked Bishop Durfey to let me know if anything happened at stake priesthood meeting tonight that I needed to know about. He texted me later and said the Clint was now President Hurley, counselor in the stake presidency. I will probably have to find a different dentist. I yakk too much when I'm on the gas in his office...

In seminary we are studying Alma 1-2 tomorrow. Well, in 5 hours, actually. Point is, it's about the Amlicites who try and put their man in the head spot in the government, while infringing on the rights of others. It's more extreme than that. They actually start a civil war, but the point is that we have a situation where there are those who so fanatically support their candidate that they ARE trampling on our rights to free speech and religion, etc. Where are we headed? Where is our Captain Moroni?

I like to look at the pictures you guys put up on your blog sites. It's fun to imagine what is going on in the mind of the subject at that moment. I realize that I can't know, so I just make stuff up that is funny to me. Really, if it's fun for me, then that is the most important thing. Right?

So Clint is now in the Stake Presidency? Who was released? You are right...get a different dentist! Which reminds me....one time I left a spiral steno pad at Clint's office. I used the notepad for my to-do lists each day. Thing is, I didn't even miss it when I left it there, but a few months later Sandee brought it to me and said they figured it was mine. I was horrified. What kind of drivel was in my daily to-do lists that made them realize it had to belong to me? UGH! I felt like someone had rummage through my junk drawer and learned every mundane thing in my life, then thought to themselves, "This person is boring as heck and has no life...hmmm...it must be Trudy's!"

President Noe was released. He's been looking for work out of the area, so maybe he found something. It would be my luck to have on my to do list: "Buy bigger underwear" or "Don't forget the butt zit cream".

Dad,
That was funny. The kids are gonna crack up at this in the morning. You should do more of those.

Happy Birthday Brian! Not sure where to post a happy birthday wish since I don't think you check Facebook. Hope your card arrived in time!

Thanks, Trudy. I got the card just now. You crakc me up. You always pick just the right card for the person. I'll have to start shopping earlier in the year for cards and get a year's supply. I dropped my facebook account, again. Too many virus chances and of the 100 or so "friends" I had, about 2 actually write personal stuff. The rest just sent "hugs" and wanted me to send it on to everyone in the census. The people I really talk to I do either here, on the phone, or email. So thanks for being a sycophant.
