Several things: I called the guy who's been "fixing" my lawn mower. At least he picks it up and delivers it when he "fixes" it and it still doesn't work. At least it's not any worse. How can it be? He picked it up, "fixed" it, and in the middle of mowing today, it stopped. I checked under the hood, like I knew what I was doing. I actually found two wires that look like they should be connected, but weren't. I tried connecting them, but they wouldn't. So I called again. He'll pick it up. sigh...my yard is half mowed.
But as I was mowing I noticed a guy sitting on the porch of the house next door, sipping something. Maybe a responsible person has bought the house? That would be great. I'll stop by when I have time.
Went to WW this morning. I really like this class. The lady is a multi-millionaire and does this to help people. She doesn't need the job. She should be a stand up comic. Lost 1.4 pounds this week. I rode hard, but I ate too much, too, so 1.4 pounds is good. I'll take it.
Rode 25 miles today before weighing in. Took me 99 minutes, which is the max on the bike. It was enough. I was whupped. That makes a total of 252 miles and another milestone. I am almost half way to the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. Almost to Louisville. If you look at the right hand image above, you will see "Bardstown", to the southwest of Shelbyville, KY where I am now. We have ancestors from there. I can't remember exactly, but I think on Grandma Connie's side. I'll check. And not that far back, either.
This is my new Ruger Super Blackhawk 44 Magnum. I got it through a dealer in Draper, UT, who got it from a supplier in Spanish Springs, NV. I hope that everyone was happy with the deal. I've been reading about it and it's also a forehead smacker if you don't watch yourself. You can also just about take your thumb off, if you hold it wrong.
On a lighter note, Loni and I ate at O'Charlies yesterday. It was fun to sit and talk. I'm glad she is back. I missed her. I miss all of you. Better go get ready for work. Can't mow the lawn.

Wow you own a handgun before I got one. I am been shotting various makes and models at a gun club. I believe I prefer the long barrel 357 magnum. Very accurate with it, the kick is not so bad, and it has a lot of penetrating power. I miss a clip but the revolver is fine. Figure if I can't hit and stop something in 6 shots I deserve to die. Are you sure you are not sabatoging the lawnmower so you don't have to mow and can go play?
I'm cracking up! Can't hit something in six shots and you deserve to die. That sums it up.
Holy Crow! You ride like a mad man! I wouldn't last 10 minutes!! Glad I found your blog! I miss my Brian's ramblings! Loves!
Holy CROW? Loves? What? Are you trying to turn this into some kind of girlie blog? Sheesh, Mindy. Try and have some...oh, yeah...you're a girl. Never mind. Loves!

Well, I don't have any little kids to watch over. Shucks, I don't even have a wife giving me things to do. I just wish I could eat less so I'd actually lose weight.
Adorably,
