Quickie: to much emotion to worry about bike riding

It's impossible to write all about Beau and Stevie. She was bleeding internally, he had inspired blood into his lungs and was suffocating. They did an emergency C-section, just in time to save both their lives. He was not breathing on his own, so they put him on a respirator, gave him antibiotics and other medicines, got Stevie stabilized, then flew him to the University of Utah medical center newborn ICU for further care. TK followed them up, then came back. Cindy is there with the Bergers. We are here, praying and fasting. This was all last night around midnight EDT. They did allow Stevie and TK to see him and touch him before they flew him off. During the night, he got an "upgrade" to a CPAP machine, which he hated and kept pulling off, along with the wires and tubes. THAT'S MY BOY!! If you can get pissed off like that, then you will make it. I made it, and look how mad I am all the time! But seriously, today he got another "upgrade" to an oxygen tube and feeding tube. TK change his diaper and held him. He's not completely breathing on his own, but it's much, much better. He is not totally safe and has to be watched all the time, but I have confidence that he will be ok.

I know that God the Father lives and loves us. I know that the infinite mercies of Jesus the Atoner, the Son of God, will wipe all tears away and will make all wrongs right, and will bring us up to be resurrected in the flesh to meet God. I know that he will cause the just and the unjust to rise in the resurrection, either earlier or later, because his atonement is infinite. If he did that for the unjust, then little babies are immune from sin and from damnation. They are pure before him and undefiled. Although they are subject to the infirmities of this mortal life and of the fall of man, they will be brought to celestial glory and exhaltation through Jesus, the Mediator of the new and everlasting covenant.

I am not afraid. I just wish I could be out there with my family. I wish Loni and I were there with you all. I love you.

Tomorrow morning Anna, Loni, and I are going hiking, hopefully to Roan Mountain. Might be too stormy, though, don't want to get stuck by lightning. Might have to settle for House Mountain. If it's raining, might have to settle for O'Charlie's.

Did 10 miles today to Franklin, IN, which is a bedroom community to Indianapolis. Amazing I'm that far. Ten miles used to kill me. Now I pump it out in 30 minutes. Good sweat, but I could ride for another hour. Just don't have time today. I lost a pound at WW this week. Not much, but consistent. At this rate, I'll waste away to nothing by the time I'm 100.
