Camels on I75

Cindy got home at midnight, so I went to bed at 11. She's a big girl. Figuratively. Not her figure, just in decision making. I should stop now.

So I got up a bit early and rode just over 18 miles. Not bad. Made it to Emlyn, KY, just south of Williamsburg. Saw this camel trailer on Interstate 75 just south of Emyln. This area is beautiful. Just to the west is the Big South Fork National Recreation Area. The Big South Fork of the Cumberland River flows through it. Lots of big rapids, cliffs, caves, copperheads, and scenery. Once, at youth conference, while holding testimony meeting in a large cave, I got the distinct impression that Nephites had hidden in that cave and that they had marched through the area during battles. It was not a very happy feeling. Not evil, just melancholy, sort of bittersweet.

I work tonight from 4 until midnight, then go back to work at about 7 am. I'm teaching 3-12 year olds about weather tomorrow at the Hamblen County Library. I'll show them how to suck an egg into a bottle, make a cloud in a bottle, and probably crush a coke can with a blow torch and ice water. Those are the attention-getters.

Maybe I'll add more later. Thanks to all my sycophants for attaching yourselves to my blog like lampreys on a shark. Michael Jackson never had it so good.
