Little by little

Well...every day I go to my family's blogs and look for new entries. I don't always have the emotional or mental energy to write a response, but I do look for pictures of them. I love to look at facial expressions. You can tell so much from a person's look. Most people think they hide their emotions pretty well, and most people are wrong. Most people suck at hiding the emotions. Their eyes, their mouths, the way they lean their heads, their posture, etc, all tell a story.

One of these days I'm going to get a favorite photo of all my grandchildren and do facial impersonations of them. I can imitate people's walks pretty well. Not tonight. I woke up in the middle of the night and can't sleep and need to after I blog.

If you look at my progress above you will see that I am losing a tiny little bit of weight each week. I lost over 14 pounds the first two weeks. Some people said to me, "Yeah but that's just water weight." I said, "Yeah, water surrounding my heart, my lungs, and my brain." They said, "Oh, yeah." I thought, "Yeah..." and then I caught myself and was gracious. A victory for me for not actually killing them! Yippee!

It's been much slower since then. But at least I'm going down.

For the last four weeks I've had a horrible cough. At first I got stuff up. You saw the chart. Then I quit being productive. Just a dry hacking, and then a dry croupy cough. Pain, searing pain, and then blessed darkness and oblivion. Oh, wait, not that, no. Sorry.

I have not been able to work out much, just get too winded. Since I bought Cindy a Kindle for her birthday, perhaps she will let me go workout at Gold's Gym down the street.

When we wake up in about four hours we are going to Twin Falls to join up at Costco and shop around for food and fun stuff. We COULD eat all the samples there for lunch, but I think we'll go to a nicer place for lunch.

OK, I'm so tired now. Going back to bed.

Love you guys.

Congrats on losing weight! It is a slow process and it's hard cause I just want it NOW!:) I don't know why people do that...say things like, "Yeah but that's just water weight", instead of saying "Good Job, Way to Go" So, GOOD JOB DAD WAY TO GO AND KEEP IT UP! I mean it and I love you!
