Christmas was grand. Loni was here and I got off work at 8 a.m. after a long night of 100 mph winds in the mountains, 50 mph winds in Morristown, flooding, and phones ringing all night. The wind equipment at the Knoxville airport went out just as I needed it to forecast for the airport. Typical.
I'm on vacation until January 4. sigh...football bowls, eating, sleeping in, staying up late, football bowls, eating, football bowls.
We saw Sherlock Holmes with Loni yesterday. We all gave it a 7, 8, and 8. The viewing public at imdb.com gave it something like 6.2. Must be diehard Holmes dweebs who say to each other, "Why this never happened in a single Holmes book! And he doesn't even LOOK like Basil Rathbone!" Same people that argue in Elvish over whether Orcs really looked like that.
Cindy and I are going to Avatar in a few minutes with her friend from school and her husband, Lisa and Robert. Nice people.
Rode 10 miles to some place in the boonies in Wisconsin. There are a lot of places like that in Wisconsin.
STEVIE AND BEAU COME MONDAY!
