The Second Amendment

Here's a good article on Obama's Supreme Court nominee, Judge Sotomayor:
http://www.americanthinker.com/2009/06/sotomayors_fundamental_flaws_1.html

Read it. It's quite short and makes good judicial sense. I'm sure she will be approved as the conservatives have neither the votes nor the...er...stones...to stand up to Obama. She will side with the other liberal members of the SCOTUS to try and take away the right to keep and bear arms. I will always remember when the SCOTUS made a proposed law constitutional, which Andrew Jackson opposed. His response was, "...let 'em enforce it."

The amendment says "...the right of the People to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." The People.

Judge Sotomayor and the other liberals can make it unconstitutional for me to keep and own a gun, a knife, nunchakus, sticks, or my fists, but they have to have someone else enforce the law. It was just this type of legislation that forced the American Revolution.
